Michael Gromm

Michael Gromm was born Mt Gambier in 1980, he received his Bachelor of Arts (fine arts) in 2001 from the University of Ballarat.
Michael has exhibited widely over the last ten years, and has been a finalist in many National art prizes including the Metro Art Prize, the Geelong Contemporary Art Prize. In 2015 he was the recipient of the Exploration Emerging Art Award at Flinders Lane Gallery in Melbourne.
Michael’s works are process driven paintings that mix eclectic ensemble of techniques and visual ideals. His work is simultaneously gestural and random, considered and controlled.
