‘My interpretation of still life is a decorative style of painting which includes subjects such as woven baskets, a vase and a treasured Indigenous bowl in the composition. I have also incorporated my love of painting Australian native flowers, fruits and vegetables, placing them in baskets and bowls, with closer scrutiny, making an ornamental display filling the canvas. ‘
