Hill Smith Gallery have been supporters of the Helpmann Academy for over 15 years, as an Award Partner, providing an annual cash award to an outstanding new graduate from one of the partner participating institutions. The Award is presented at the annual Helpmann Academy Graduate Exhibition in January each year. 

Hill Smith Art Advisory continue this partnership and in 2021 was very pleased to see the award (valued at $7,000) granted by an esteemed judging panel to Stephanie Doddridge (University of South Australia graduate), who received the inaugural Hill Smith Art Advisory Award (valued at $7,000). For an artist working in 3D whose work is inspired by the craft tradition, utilising ceramic, metal, glass, wood or fibre. The award includes the opportunity to present a three-week exhibition (on-line and by appointment to clients) with HSAA in 2021.
